Scratch awl ideal for starting screw holes. Cold chisels used for cutting and shaping metal that is softer than the cutting edge. Pin punches are used to remove a pin or key. Center punches are used for making accurate hole starting easier. Prick punches are used to mark and scribe work pieces.
